Net GP Earnings

NHS England require that the net earnings of doctors engaged in the practice is publicised and that the required disclosure is shown below. However it should be noted that the prescribed method for calculating earnings is potentially misleading because it takes no account of how much time doctors working in the practice and should not be used for any judgement about GP earnings, nor to make comparisons with other practices.

Adelaide

There are five GPs who were employed for six months or longer to work at Adelaide GP Surgery during 2014/15 and two GPs who undertook sessions as locum GPs for longer than six months. All of these GPs worked part-time. The average salary before tax, NI and pension was £48,966.31 for an average of 5 sessions worked.

 

Nicholstown

There are five GPs who were employed for six months or longer to work at Nicholstown GP Surgery during 2014/15. One was full-time, although not all of these hours were worked clinically and four were part-time. The average salary before tax, NI and pension was £63,649.77 for an average of 5.4 sessions worked.

 

Portswood

There are five GPs who were employed for six months or longer to work at Portswood GP Surgery during 2014/15. All of these GPs worked part-time. The average salary before tax, NI and pension was £54,818.37 for an average of 5.2 sessions worked.
