NHS Breast Screening Programme

There has been recent talk in the media about a problem with the NHS Breast Screening Programme.  An issue led to some women who were due to be invited for mammography between their 68th and 71st birthday missing their final invitation. Public Health England will write to all affected women to let them know where they can go for advice or support.  If you are concerned please call 0800 169 2692 for further information

Phone issues at our sites

Unfortunately we have recently been suffering with phone issues at all of our surgery sites. Calls have been coming in to the surgery but when the call has been picked up, neither the receptionist or the patient can hear each other.  There has also been an issue with calls being answered and patients struggling to get through.  The issue has mainly been affecting calls coming in to the surgery though there have been occasional issues with calls out as well.

This has been investigated by our telecoms team with the highest priority for some time and we are hopeful of a resolution.  We appreciate that this is really frustrating for patients and we apologise for any inconvenience caused. Please do continue to ring in for "on the day" triage appointments between 8am-11am and our reception team will do their best to answer. If your call is not urgent then please call after 11am.

If you are wishing to book a routine appointment, please consider booking online as all available routine GP appointments are bookable via the online service.

We will update patients on this site when phone service has returned to normal.

You can do more online!

Did you know that you can order your repeat prescriptions, book routine appointments and more online from your computer, tablet or smartphone? You can get access by speaking to reception at your surgery site. We do need to see some ID and we'll give you a username and password to access the services via the Online Services page above. It's also got links to download the Apple and Android apps.
